Trufa Walks
Privacy policy
Your dog's details are personal too. Here's what we collect and why.
Who looks after your details
Trufa Walks is Clara Roig's dog walking service in Poble Sec, Barcelona. Clara uses the information you share to arrange and run your dog's walks. For a privacy question or request, please contact Clara through the channel you used to arrange your walk. You can also find ways to reach us on the contact page.
What you share
When you book, we ask for your name, email, phone number, pickup address and access instructions, along with your dog's name, age, size, energy, temperament, health-related walking needs and optionally a photo. We also keep the walks you choose, meeting requests and booking changes. If you make an account, your sign-in details are used to give you access to your own corner. If you chat with Trufa, we keep the conversation so you can return to it.
Why we use it
We need these details to check pack compatibility, arrange pickup, manage bookings, keep dogs safe and show you walk updates. We use your contact details for service messages about your booking where sending is available. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use chat messages to make booking decisions; important changes should be made through your booking page or directly with Clara.
Walk routes and photos
Walk pages can show a route, dog names and walk moments. Please do not share a walk link if you would rather keep it private. Photos you upload for your dog and any walk photos are used to help identify dogs and remember the walk. Do not upload photos of other people without their permission.
Who helps run the site
The site uses Lovable Cloud to store bookings and accounts and an AI service to answer chat questions and translate the interface. Maps use OpenStreetMap map data and may load tiles from a map provider; fonts may load from Google Fonts. These services may receive technical information such as your IP address when your browser connects to them.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and walk records while needed to provide the service and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Chat conversations remain available to your browser's visitor identifier. You can ask Clara to correct or delete information when it is no longer needed. Clearing your browser data removes your local chat identifier but does not automatically delete stored conversations.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict certain uses, and request a portable copy where applicable. Contact Clara through your existing booking channel with your request so she can confirm it is yours. You may also complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the AEPD.
